Road Trip to Miami
I just got back from a quick trip to South Beach. I love traveling down to South Florida and spending time with friends. South Beach isn’t necessarily my style, but I like the surrounding areas.
While I was there I got to hang with a friend I haven’t seen in about 26 years. It is always great to reconnect with friends from childhood and when you can throw back some whiskey and laugh about the dumb things you did as a kid makes it even better. Plus, the 2 of us look nothing like people who should be hanging in South Beach. I might be stereotyping a little, but look at us. Gregg Allman Jr and the 4th member of ZZ Top aren’t exactly the type of guys you see hanging there. The good part was neither of us gave 2 shits.
I must say we were a little more “home” walking into the Harley dealership in Miami, than drinking on South Beach, but I am always up for a good time with great people.
Not only did we catch up, but we managed to discuss some business ideas and that is always good times. The creative process that goes into ideas for launching a business are always interesting. If you have a great story to go along with a great product it’s even better. My friend Larry has a great story. We will turn this into a pretty awesome business. (I am not mentioning the business just yet as I do not want the negative people trying to tell me it won’t work)
There are a lot of great things coming your way. At the end of it all, I am stoked about the possibilities.
